CAMERA, snacks and extra formula if bottle fed also clothes n blanket..... most important FIRST AID KIT u never know when u need it...

Also you may want your camera, pictures done by your phone are great but the quality is much better with your camera. And also a bib when I'm out my little one wants to eat everything I do!

I always have a light blanket, extra clothes for me and baby, wipes, diapers, hand sanitizer, and a small medical kit. But the most important thing for me is my nursing cover.

Must add an Iphone to the list of essential items. Provides a way to send friends and family adorable pics as they happen, a way to make emergency phone calls and provides entertainment for bored older siblings.
