My 17 month old has always been a poor sleeper. I think it's key to just play it by ear. Some days she doesn't want a nap, other days she takes a 2 hour nap. I just watch for signs that she is sleepy and call it if she fights the nap for too long.

My twenty month old still takes 3+ hour naps in the day and about 10 at night. He does have a sippy cup to fall asleep tho, im not sure i am ready to take away that comfort item. just make sure to brush his teeth a lot

Great article! My 16 month old is a really good napper at home, if we're anywhere else at naptime, he'll only nap for about 15 minutes or so. Any one else have this problem?

This is so true my little one has days were he just comes up to me wanting to take a nap and other days he refuses. So I gave up I don't force naps, if he wants to thats great if not no problem.

Ginger diffinitly works! I'm on my 3rd pregnancy, my first two I was vomiting and sick almost all of the whole 9 months. This one, although I'm still early into it, ginger prego pop drops and ginger candies have been my life savers. Very little stomach upset when I have those!!!

I appreciate this article. Everything that I was told to try has not work. Therefore, I am going to try ginger roots, and eating an apple or two a day.
Thanks

ginger absolutely works! i found ginger cookies made with real ginger, not imitation flavor, and organic ginger ale. pricey, but the stuff made with real ginger worked so well. (read the labels, though - imitation flavor doesn't work)

This time around in my 2nd pregnancy I haven't figured out if I'm just fortunate to have less nausea, or if it's because I've learned to never let my stomach get empty (except while I sleep). I figured it out early on with my little girl (now 6 yrs), and was able to avoid getting sick. I roll out of bed and immediately eat something- cereal, oatmeal, etc- then keep eating every 1-2 hours until sometime after lunch. Then I usually eat an early and light dinner before 5-6 which keeps me from being overly full. Definitely great tips in this article!

Citrus in any form helped me out a lot with my morning sickness. It is a natural anti-nausea and I was craving it so bad especially in the last three or so months of my pregnancy. I was really addicted to lemonade and grapefruit juice. Funny though, orange juice did nothing to satisfy my cravings. It had to be tart!

Very good tips. Also heard chewing gum can help. Believe it or not also sucking on lemons.
