These are great items to eat if you have a snack attack. My wife likes to get dried fruits like banans, apples. They dont take up much room and with a ziplock bag fit in her purse. You can take them with you almost anywhere and have them when you have a snack attack.

Snacks are so necessary for the mom to be. I found it helpful to eat several protein packed mini snacks each day. Nuts are a great snack satisfier,as well as fruit and cheese.

Eating yogurt, fruits, tuna fish, and raw veggies are a awesome way to keep your energy up and protect you and your baby. They only take a few seconds to prepare and you can normally bring them with you without needing a big bag :)

I haven't really found myself craving anything to the extreme yet. My guess it's going to be sweets ;) But lately i have felt like a total pig just eating and eating. I need to stop!

Thankfully I have always done several snacks throughout the day prior to getting pregnant. This list just helps me to make sure that I take in 'better for baby' snacks and get the nutrients, etc that my body and the growing baby needs. Thanks for the advise...

These are all excellent suggestions. I really enjoyed smoothies while pregnant, and since I couldn't have dairy, they were a great way for me to get some calcium by using rice milk in them. A very yummy smoothie (milk and/or yogurt could probably be substituted for the rice milk): Rice milk (as much as you need to get the consistency you want), one or two tablespoons of almond butter or peanut butter (or some of each), drizzle of chocolate syrup (or you could use vanilla extract as the flavoring if you don't do any chocolate while pregnant), and a frozen banana. So yummy!
