It would be nice if someone added an article about creative ways to recycle things to turn into organization tools. For an example, a way to wrap decorative paper around a can to make a rattle holder and such.

when my grandson was born he had little baskets for everything.socks diaper creme,now he still has the sock basket but the diaper creme basket is now for sunscreen..

realistic and practical yes!! there is alot of stuff i probably didnt need to get or worry about but you want to be prepared when that baby comes, get the essentials and wait to buy other stuff until baby comes and you need it

I love the idea of storing things under the crib. I think that is a great idea. We are working on a nursery with limited space and a closet that is on the smaller side and the tips offered were very helpful

The hanging bags is a good idea... we have very limited space and the baby will be in our room until we move. Time for a garage sale!!!

Just like all moms out there, first things first that we should think about before the baby arrives is to organize their nursery and the number one priority in my own opinion is always safety of the baby and this article really hit that one very important goal.

I like using a dresser as the changing table, and then you can store diapers wipes and whatever else you may use during that time in the top drawer. Also I think it's a good idea to find a plastic shield for the crib rail as both of my boys like to chew on the crib after they started getting teeth.

i have organized drawer with name tags for everything we have for my granddaughter from pins to different size clothes on hangers to sacks of diapers by sizes

i bought little baskets and i put diapers in one, bath stuff in another and wipes in the last one, and tuck them under the changing station, works great, everything is right there

sometimes even when you have alot of items to help keep the baby room organized, depending on what type of day it can get hectic in there. I always find taking atleast 20min of the day to tidy up.

I've thought about organizing the closets. I've got extra shelves up, hanger organizers, etc. But I didn't think of organizing the bathroom. That's something I'm going to have to plan now.
