some fist time parents think they need to wash them every day for that clean smell, i think this is good for those parents out there if you want it apart of the schedule like befor bed i just let them soak in warm water and then do a rub down with lotion

My lil princess is close to 3 weeks old, she cried some for her first bath at home but the second one she seemed to enjoy. Having everything you need right by you definitey is helpful, babies don't need long baths, you don't want them to get cold.

my newborn hated sponge baths but as soon as he was old enough to be in the water he loved it. watching his facial expressions as i pours water over him crack me up. It is a great bonding experience to do with my husband as well.

My little one hated bathes until the cord stump fell off and he could get fully wet. A wet washcloth laid across his tummy while I washed also helped keep him warm.

Remember not to stick the Qtips in his or her ears! You can use it on the outside of the ear. Good article. As mentioned, be prepared before bath time and everything will go more smoothly.

My 1st was a girl no problem with bath time, I now have a 3 month old boy and i learned very quickly when we have bath time it's a good idea to keep his (willy) COVERED unless i want a shower my self.
