i like the tip on bring an extra shirt for moms because you never know when your little one is going to get you dirty. another good idea would be to pack a small first aid kit if you have toddlers and older kids in case someone gets hurt.

My must haves:
*at least 2 spare outfits for her.
*breast pads! (ive had a couple embarrassing leaks)
*pacifier. This will tider her over until I can get to a spot to nurse
* an extra blankie, several things can occur : poo explosion, she lifts her feet and pees up her belly, spit up, or severe milk leak... all have happened at some point with Addison.
*at least 2 spare outfits for her.

I find that i need an extra shirt too...I always pack extra for my kids but never thought to do the same for me!

I like the idea of a clean shirt for mom. I find myself drooled and spit up on a lot. I also like the idea of having a camera, I am always taking pictures and sometimes a cell phone doesn't cut it.

A change of clothes for mom is a great idea that many people overlook. All it takes is one accident to learn the lesson, but an extra shirt in case of accidents is a diaper bag must!

Your Diaper bag should be packed depending on were you are going and for how long. If you are just running to the store to get food, then 2 diapers should be enough, 1 outfit chage for the baby. Well as for you. I think you could leave with some spit up for a little while. Wipes is always needed, and a bottle. If you know u maybe gone most of the day. Then this were your break out the mini suit case. 2-3 change of clothes for the bady and change for you. At least 8 diapers and enough food to keep your baby happy and healthy. Blankets, toys, anything else that will make your life easier.

Really great guideline. Basically you need to use your diaper bag as your purse and diaper bag in one- keep mommy items in there too (snacks, change of clothing, hand sanitizer).
