I totally agree with this article these are the bare essentials right here. With our first two babies we didnt have money or room for a changing table but now we do so, we got one along with a few other things that would have been awesome to have. Bottle warmer, extra boppy pillows, diapers caddys, yup its going to different with this one.

Awesome! Just what I needed! I went completely overboard with my first baby and had ALOT of stuff he never even used. I am definitely using this to narrow down what I actually need.

I'm very lucky to have the big ticket items taken care for free/ or low cost. I'm considering having a diaper shower now, I didn't realize how many diapers I may actually need.

i had my baby in winter and could not take him out as much as i would ve love to, but now that winter is coming i am glad because by that time he would be able to sit and he will be more alert and will enjoy more the park, i will be able to play with him.

Gliders are more comfortable and come with ottomans which glide as well. I am glad I purchased this piece of furniture for my daughter's nursery.

Onsies have to go over the head which can be a little upsetting to a newborn. I love the snap button tshirts....after 4 kids its tried and true!

this is a wonderful list compared to so many lists I have seen especially when you are being money and space conscious like me. I live in a small apartment so I cannot afford to stock up unnecessary items.

This is helpful but I feel it is missing so many things. Pacifiers, bottles, nipples. if breastfeeding lanolin, nursing cover, breast pads, breast pump, storage bags, boppy pillow. Burp cloths, a bouncy seat is a life saver. Baby socks, and the very important baby scratch mittens. My son scratched his face up before we even left the hospital, wished I had packed them. Nail clippers, and thermometer. A good diaper pail is a big plus. Bibs, lots of bibs, to save those clothes from stains. Just a few things I thought were very important.
