How many calories do you burn toteing around a 20 lb baby who refuses to be put down? These are great ideas. I am trying to walk more, my daughter loves to be in the stroller and walk.

instead of having a dance party while your tot is napping...have a dance party WITH your tot in arms. burn the cals and tone those arms :)

I get most of my exorcise simply by cooking. I make everything from scratch and since I'm small, rolling out dough takes a lot of effort! It's very time consuming, but it's worth it because of the money I save, the muscles I've built, and the quality of food on our plates is better. Not to mention what I do in the kitchen is very interesting to our little one and creates a great bonding opportunity.

It would be great if us men offered to watch baby while Mom takes a walk around the block or somethig like that as well.

Another idea - if you're going to the mall, park on the opposite side of the parking lot then where the store you plan to shop at is. I always park in the furthest parking spot to get a few more steps in.

WHO DOESN'T NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE AND KNOWING I CAN BURN APPROXIMATELY 200 CALORIES ILL TRY TO DO IT EVERYDAY.

totally good advice. espically the dancing, i even dance with my toddler, that way we both have a good time, get some bonding in, and get the exercise.
