It is great to know that we are doing the right thing with our child. We don't get many tantrums but when they happen wow.

I think the best way to deal with a tantrum is to just let it run its course then when they have calmed down tell them that its not allowed and ask why they got so upset.

I know all about tantrums! With 4 children under the age of 5, tantrums seem to be happening lots in our house. It's nice to have some more strategies to help me deal with them.
