10 Power Foods To Fuel Busy Moms

Let’s face it, being a mom and being busy are synonymous with one another. There are babies to feed, diapers to change, laundry to fold … the list sometimes seems never ending. When this happens, it is likely that feeding yourself tends to fall by the wayside or at least that’s what happened to me.

This was a great reminder of the quick and easy foods I used to eat when baby was first born. She's 1 year old now and I've slipped into a bad food slump. We try to eat dinner as a family, which is really the only time I sit down to eat. During breakfast and lunch, I'm usually in the kitchen trying to clean up from the previous and prep the next meal. My favorite nutrient packed snack was a smoothie. I'd make a blender-full, and have a glass a day for the week. I'm glad I read this - my little one's walking now, so I've got to make sure I've got the energy to keep up with her!

great reminder for some foods i knew about & great ideas for stuff i didnt know about. looking forward to trying these & being healthy at same time

i did realize after having a child my energy level have decreased dramatically. but i started to eat lots of vegetables, fruits and nuts which helped a lot.
