you change anything at all it will change their poopy.....call the Dr if it is red or coffee ground looking, those aren't good!!

The color chart is definitely helpful! Now I know what each means. And I like the "show and tell" :) I love my baby's Doctor and always like to hear to call her when something unknown comes about. Thank you for the guidance and reassurance!

I SAW COLOR CHANGES IN MY BABY DIAPERS WHEN I STARTED GIVING HIM MORE SOLID FOOD THIS MAKES IT MORE UNDERSTANDABLE NOW. I FIND IT VERY HELP FUL.

I plan on breastfeeding my baby(3months) for a while longer. but as a new mom its good to know about poop, no one ever tells you that they will have whole food left over :).

When starting solids it can be difficult to determine what 'normal' poo is but this article does a great job off explaining how different foods can affect a baby's bowel habits.

My daughter has a sensitive tummy and food is hard for her to process. she has little poops through out the day but dose not have large poops like my son did. we have to stay away from foods that are hard to digest.

With our first child, we found blood in his stool so we brought a "sample" to his pediatrician. The doctor was able to test the stool and determine that he is allergic to milk. Always pay attention to your baby's poop and don't be afraid to talk to your baby's pediatrician about it! :)

We started grayce on banana cereal and it makes her poop smell sweet......a little weird to think about sweet smelling poop? Haha

MY DAUGHTER IS ALMOST 2 AND SHE ALWAYS IS CONSTIPATED SO I ALWAYS TRY TO GIVE HER PRUNE JUICE BUT AT THE TIME SHE IS TRYING SEEMS ITS MORE GREEN THAN ANOTHER COLOR.

Prunes cause it to look greenish purple. We use prune juice and mix it with the dry rice cereal and give it to our son once day to keep him going regular. (use prune juice as substitute for the formula you would usually put in) Makes him a very happy camper.
