I bought a backpack and turned it into a diaper bag. I pack diapers, wipes, a clean outfit, snacks, toy and medicine.

I would have to say first off diapers , whips, destine cream, change of clothes, formula, bottles or cup, juice, to go baby food, snacks, thermometer, tylonol and or motrin, toys for the baby to play with..never know when the baby will have a fevor its better to be safe then sorry...

when i go to the "store" and i mean any store with a shopping cart when the store runs out of sanitize wipes at the front door i use my hand santizer that is in my diaper bag/purse thingy and of course i always have some kinda of thick tissues or paper towls and i just use sanitizer and paper content to wipe the cart when the store doesnt have it puts my mind at ease

Vinegar was an interesting suggestion.
I generally use hand sanitizer.... But, have never thought of the vinegar idea... probably be a little cheaper...
Especially when we make 5 trips to the store a day!!! Lol...

I got rid of my purse 2 dys after my daughter was born (3years ago), I just put my items in a section of the diaper bag! Or you can just get a much larger purse and turn it into the diaper bag!

When it comes to sanitizer for you hands there is germX foam that is alcohol free it is much safer for baby. It still kills 99.9% of germs just as well as the alcohol sanitizers. Also be prepared for weather changes and have plenty of layers for baby in the diaper bag.

i never knew about the vinger in a spray bottle could b used as a sanitizer for cartarts an stuff an also u wanna make sure to pack an extra outfit for the little one just incase the baby has an acciddent an i als carry some wet ones wipes in my diaper bag for my older kids

I love disposable changing pad covers. They're a must-have in my diaper bag. Sure, we have a nice, cushioned changing pad for comfort, but I always put a disposable pad under it when in an especially nasty bathroom. (I wonder how often they clean those changing tables!) I'd never thought to bring something to clean with, though. It would be cheaper for sure!
