I am having sizing issues!!! According to the weight my son would be in size two but they seem way to tight on him. When I move to size three it seems to big. We are constantly getting pee coming out of everywhere. Why suggestions!?!

i have learned that you can never have enough diaper, wipes and formula. Usally when i buy diapers i dont even take them out of my car, unless i need some in the house. its just easier to leave a bag of diapers and wipes in the car just in case.

Same as the comment below. I wish I had read this before. I was so confused when I first had to use the restroom. And when I had to go #2, I was so scared and in pain. And its not something you discuss with people - definitely would have tried the warm cloths. Going to do it in 5 years with the next one :P

I think an "oops" that they missed was poop leaking out the side. When my sister changed my sons diaper the first few times she didn't check that the elastic that keeps the diaper from leaking wasn't in my sons butt crack... so half the poop went out the side. The "fix" is to, of course, check to make sure that the elastic isn't in the baby's crack!

My "oops" Is that I use like... 50 wipes per change!
I know i'm using too many wipes... but, I don't feel like I can ever be too thorough.
....I used to have the problem with my baby soaking through her diaper all the time... I guess I never paid attention to the reason being her diaper was too small. I made the effort to just change her A LOT more often... like every hour.

My newborn is in the huggies newborn diapers. He is only two weeks old and keeps leaking out of the top of the diaper and onto his onesie. Is it me doing something wrong or can my newborn be too big for the newborn diapers? I find myself putting the diapers on so tight they leave marks on his legs.

It's always nice when people share their "oops" stories, then we can all learn from everyone's mistakes (including our own) and we don't have to make them ALL ourselves :)

With my son this was all very true bcuz i had to be cut due to him having to be vacuumed out, but with my daughter it was a totally different story. I only had to have 1 stitch & never felt like i had a baby, was back to normal the next day!! Crazy how much difference in the 2 pregnancies & deliveries :)

How true this article is!!! I had to deal with all of these things... Especially the part about nobody caring now that you aren't pregnant!!! Sad, but true and oh so worth it... Looking forward to going through it all again and again and again!!!

I always change my son on the floor! I have since he was about 1.5 months old. its just easier for me plus I can keep all of his diaper stuff on a bookshelf nearby.
