I told my boss right away that I was pregnant. In a retail job you need to do this because you can only stand for so long and lift heavy things for so long. I ended up quitting my job not that long ago, because of doctors orders not to be lifting anything over 15lbs., which was almost impossible at my job. It was a hard thing to do, but you have to think about what is best for you and the baby.
