I ended up leaving work at 7 months because my pregnancy turned slightly complicated. I decided after the baby was here that I wanted to be a stay at home mom until he starts school. I get antsy around the house but I just go for walks to keep my mind in check. there's plenty to do around the house, especially with makeovers I want to do in the next couple years. plus it gives me time to spend a lot of one on one time with my son doing repetitions to help him learn. and I get to take him outside a lot too which is very stimulating for him, especially with all the leaves changing colors ( and all that fresh air makes him sleep like a rock! )
I told my boss right away that I was pregnant. In a retail job you need to do this because you can only stand for so long and lift heavy things for so long. I ended up quitting my job not that long ago, because of doctors orders not to be lifting anything over 15lbs., which was almost impossible at my job. It was a hard thing to do, but you have to think about what is best for you and the baby.
