Great article. One issues that I didn't realize and could encorporate in my diaper bag was to bring my own trash bag for the used diapers in case I am in a spot that needs it.

Packing extra diapers is a must for me. My 3 week old only has a BM every other day right now, which the doctor said is fine, but when she goes sometimes I change her diaper and she needs to be changed again immediately after. If I didn't have enough diapers with me we would really be in trouble!

A friend gave me some pleasant-smelling bags to use when disposing of dirty diapers at a friend's house (or anyplace else you don't want to leave a stinky smell). They also come in handy on vacation.

This is a great article since its full of tips. I print this out and when I go to baby showers I include the print-out on themed paper and use it as part of my gift baskets I make. As a mother of 2 it came in handy for myself plus new mommies love it.

We have been checking prices of diapers since I first found out that I was pregnant. Seems like it changes all the time. Good idea about bring your own trash bag. Didn't think of that.

Sometimes diapers cost less online, sometimes in the store. It changes all the time. We like to break down the cost of each diaper per package (price divided by number of diapers). We keep those numbers in mind always when we see a sale

Defiantly take more diapers than I need everywhere! I even stash a few in her toy box she's always grabbing them anyway and I just lay her down in her swarm of toys do it as quick as I can and she back at her toys. :) and I couldn't agree more with have the new diaper ready before you even start to take off the old one. Sometimes I put the new one under the old one so when I pull it off I just have to strap the new one on!

these are all ver good tips, im a mom of two and idk why i never thought to pack a grocery bag for dirty diapers, i will definately start doing this from now on. but having everything stocked and organized where you change your baby is the easiest way to diaper a baby. i always keep everything in a diaper bag as well, always...because when im gettin ready to leave thats the last thing i want to do each time is pack a bag, so always keep it packed with extra clothes, bibs, socks, diapers, ointment, powder, wipes, toys, changing pad, burp cloth, etc.then u just have to grab the milk! makes things alot easier!

Definitely order online, and order early! We ran out while waiting for our online order to arrive and our nearest store had every size BUT the size we needed. We had to try a different brand and none of us enjoyed that.
